Software for people who run plants

ChatterFix is a CMMS for any plant or facility, built by someone who spent ten years on the maintenance floor. Maintenance, quality, safety and production run on one record trail, so an audit pulls evidence that was captured as the work happened instead of being reconstructed afterwards — SQF and HACCP in food, OSHA and GMP and NFPA elsewhere. Technician-first: voice work orders, manuals the AI can answer from, vision checks, and VR-guided procedures for the high-risk jobs. Manual entry stays as the fallback, never the main path.

The incumbents — UpKeep, MaintainX, eMaint, Limble — sell maintenance software to managers, ship it as an empty database, and leave you to build your own asset tree and PM library. None carry a compliance trail across quality and safety, and none were designed for the person holding the wrench. ChatterFix ships 24 industries with 16 full templates already built — assets, PM procedures, inspection templates, parts catalogue, the vocabulary that industry actually uses — so it is useful on day one instead of after a six-week implementation. Food and beverage is the deepest of those, because it is the most audited and it is where I came from.

One person. Ten years in food-manufacturing maintenance — technician to supervisor, PLCs and HMIs — then self-taught developer. ChatterFix, the technician app, the analytics dashboard and the El Gringo multi-model engine were all built and shipped solo. That is the honest headcount, and it is also why the product looks like the floor instead of a dashboard.

Early. The software is built and running in production; the work in front of it is getting it into plants.
